East Texas Giving Day: Texas Shakespeare Festival

TYLER — Texas Shakespeare Festival's Matthew Simpson, associate artistic director, stops by the Morning Loop Thursday to chat about East Texas Giving Day.

The Texas Shakespeare Festival was originally developed to establish professional summer theatre for East Texas based in Kilgore, according to its website.

It's a company of actors, designers, artist and directors.

The festival is now in its 33rd season.

The summer season's repertoire includes: "Love's Labour's Lost," "Tartuffe," "King John," "110 in the Shade," "The Belle of Amherst," and "The Lovely Step-Sister."
