Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized a day after his wife, Barbara's funeral.
According to his spokeman, Jim McGrath, the former president was hospitalized for an infection that spread to his blood.
McGrath was also quoted as saying Mr. Bush was "broken hearted" over the death of his wife.
