CARLISLE - The Carlisle Indians got off to a hot start this year by winning their first 6 games. But then they hit a rough patch losing 3 of their last 4 games.

The Indians punched their ticket to the second round of the playoff last weekend, beating Groveton 49-22.

They've overcome injuries and adversity to advance in the playoffs and according to head coach Rocky Baker, this is testament to the amount of heart the team has.

"The kids have come together they're playing hard we've had so many injuries and things come up and we fought through and they've been a real tough strong group they've really come together."

The Indians face the Kerens Bobcats this Saturday at Panther Stadium in Bullard at 5:30 p.m.
