AUSTIN - Every 2 years, the UIL takes a look at enrollment at schools around the state and adjusts the numbers for each class to make sure the classes are even and that teams are in district with similarly-sized schools.
On Wednesday, the numbers were released for the 2018-2020 cycle and several East Texas teams will be changing districts next year.
It is important to note, the UIL numbers released on Wednesday ONLY determine what class and division a team will play in. The UIL won't announce the new districts until February.
