CBS19 WEATHER: Blue skies and sunshine in East Texas

TYLER, Texas — Good morning, East Texas,

A cool middle of the week turns warmer as we head toward the weekend. High pressure will slide over the Piney Woods and bring warm, dry conditions through the holiday weekend.  But a pattern change is looming early next week.  A storm system will bring rain and the potential for strong storms Tuesday of next week.  We will keep you updated every with the latest for this storm system, so keep checking back with CBS19.  

Here's your forecast:  

TODAY:

Grab your flower print pants, because we are taking it back to the 70s.  Sunrise temperatures will start of in the 40s, but the afternoon will make it to the 70s under blue skies.  This is the start of a warming trend that will take us to the 80s by the end of the week.  

TOMORROW:

Tomorrow will be another beautiful day across the Piney Woods.  High pressure will meander across our area and bring the upper 70s to the forecast.  A few breezes may gust from the south through the afternoon, but, overall, it will be another nice day outside.  

EASTER WEEKEND:

As we look ahead to the holiday weekend, temperatures continue to warm through the end of the week. By Friday, high temperatures will rise into the upper 70s, and by Sunday, morning lows will be in the low 60s and make it into the low 80s by the afternoon. While clouds increase over the weekend and will be mostly cloudy by Sunday, rain looks to stay out of the forecast. It will be the perfect weather to wear your Sunday bests and hunt for the Easter eggs outside!
