Storms and rain that have been impacting East Texas will finally come to an end overnight, but before they do some of us could still see some rocky weather.

Showers and storms will continue to work there way through the CBS 19 viewing area overnight, eventually coming to an end during the early morning hours of Sunday. We will remain under a marginal risk for severe weather overnight, so keep your phone near you in case any of these storms do decide to head toward the severe side. Temps overnight will cool into the low 50s after these storms and the cold front makes their way through.

Sunday may kick off with some lingering showers early in the day, but those would likely only be around before the 8 am hour. Mostly cloudy skies will be expected after that and temps will stay on the cool side, with highs only reaching to around 67 Sunday afternoon. Drier weather and warming weather moves back in for the work week, as we keep rain out of the forecast until Wednesday at the earliest.

Have a great rest of your weekend!
