1 indicted for murder in connection with Tyler store clerk death

Smith County Sheriff's Deputies chased after the suspects in a Saturday morning robbery.

SMITH COUNTY - One person has been indicted for the robbery and death of a store clerk that happened in January.

Dameon Jamrc Mosley, 26, was indicted Friday by a Smith County Grand Jury. He was charged in connection with the death of store clerk Billy Dale Stacks during a robbery on Jan. 28 at the Conoco Gas Station on NNE Loop 323 just north of Morningside Drive.

Mosley was arrested in Dallas and later transported back to Smith County in early February. His co-defendant, Lamarcus Hannah, 32, was also arrested for aggravated robbery.

Both men remain in the Smith County Jail each on a $1 million bond.
