$10,000 reward for capture of Dallas fugitive

EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - A $10,000 reward for tips leading to the capture of a Dallas fugitive.

The Texas Department of Public Safety has added Larry Valdez, 42, to the Texas 10 most Wanted Fugitive list.

Valdez has a violent criminal past and has been on the run since 2005.

He is wanted for an incident in which he brutally assaulted a women with intentions on leaving her to die. The victim did survive but Valdez is still on the run. Valdez is wanted for parole violation, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, assault causing bodily injury-family violence, and duty on striking fixture/highway landscape.

The North Texas Crime Stoppers has offered an additional reward up to $5000 for information leading to his arrest. 

Valdez is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds. His tattoos include heart/ribbon/arrow on the left side of his chest.
