11 high school football games to be showcased on KCEB

EAST TEXAS (KYTX/ETFINALSCORE) - CBS19/KCEB-TV (ME-TV) will broadcast 11 high school football games in 10 weeks this season, CBS19 sports director Eric Sullivan announced on Monday.

CBS19 is the media affiliate of the Tyler Morning Telegraph and ETFinalScore.com.

The games will air at 11:30 p.m., following the ETFinalscore.com Football Show on METV (Suddenlink Cable Channel 2, Tyler).

The games will be replayed at noon on Saturdays and 7 p.m. on Sundays (both on KCEB).

Two games will air live on Thursdays — John Tyler vs. Tigres (Mexico) on Sept. 26 at Earl Campbell Field at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium and Robert E. Lee vs. Longview on Thursday Oct. 31 at Lobo Stadium.

The first two broadcasts are from Rose Stadium — Lufkin at REL on Sept. 6 and JT vs. REL on Sept. 13. The third week has the Longview-Lufkin rivalry from Lobo Stadium in Longview on Sept. 20.

After the live presentation of JT and Tigres on Sept. 26, the Longview-Mesquite game will be shown on Sept. 27 from Lobo Stadium.

On Oct. 4, REL will play host to North Mesquite, while the two next broadcasts will be JT home games — Oct. 11 vs. Corsicana and Oct. 18 vs. Lindale.

REL will be on the next telecasts — Oct. 25 vs. Mesquite and the Halloween night game at Longview.

The final game on the schedule will have JT visiting Whitehouse on Nov. 8.
