(CBS) - A new Congress will be sworn in today. The 113th Congress already faces daunting challenges right away.
One of the first tasks will be to vote on a bill to provide relief for victims of Superstorm Sandy. And then there's the leftover's from the Fiscal Cliff debate. The new Congress will have to deal with the spending cuts that were tabled when the Fiscal Cliff Bill was voted on this week.
Congress will also have to authorize a bump in the debt ceiling or else the country will default on its loans for the first time in U.S. history.
