15th Annual wheelchair games held in Tyler

(KYTX) Tyler - There was a lot of friendly competition going on at the wheel chair games held at Trinity Mother Frances Rose Stadium.

People came out from all over East Texas and even as far as San Antonio to participate.

Organizers say this was the first year they didn't have lanes for the race.

But say it's about fellowship and fun -- exactly why Michael Walsh keeps coming back.

"I've lost count because I've been out here so many times. It's great, its fun. It's a chance to meet people it opens up doors," said Walsh.

Awards were given after the games were over.

This was the 15th annual event.
