22 ounces of cocaine found in pickle jar,Titus Co man jailed

TITUS COUNTY (KYTX) - More than 600 grams of cocaine discovered in a pickle jar has led to the arrest of a Titus County man.

Titus County Sheriff Tim Ingram tells CBS 19, his office executed a Narcotic Search Warrant in the 800 block of Cash Street in Mount Pleasant, Texas on January 14, 2014.

The Titus County Sheriff's Office Emergency Response Team and Narcotic Investigators served the warrant and located approximately 22 ounces of cocaine in the pickle jar, and the suspect, 30-year old  Damon Markee Holloman was taken into custody.

Damon Holloman was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with 22 oz. , a first degree felony. 

An individual adjudged guilty of a felony of the first degree shall be punished by imprisonment in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for life or for any term of not more than 99 years or less than 5 years.  In addition to imprisonment, an individual may be punished by a fine not to exceed $10,000.
