29-year-old son arrested for allegedly robbing father at gunpoint

NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) - A Nacogdoches man was held at gunpoint while being tied up, allegedly by his son.

Thursday morning around 9 a.m. officers were called to the 300 block of Cooper Street in reference to an aggravated robbery.

According to Nacogdoches police, William Fincher, 29, took his 69-year-old father's pickup, handgun and credit card and fled.

A short time later, two Nacogdoches Police Officers on patrol found the stolen vehicle parked in the WalMart parking lot. The officers saw the suspect leaving the store and arrested him.

Fincher was taken to the Nacogdoches County Jail and charged with Aggravated Robbery.

No injuries were reported.
