4.1 earthquake hits Timpson area this morning

TIMPSON (KYTX) - A 4.1 magnitude earthquake shakes the Timspon area this morning. The U.S. Geological Survey says it happened just after 1 AM.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Department tells CBS 19 they've gotten a ton of calls from people living there saying they felt the shaking. So far there have been no reports of any injuries or damage -- just a few pictures knocked off the walls of some homes.

This is not the first earthquake to hit the Timpson area. Back in December a 2.8 magnitude earthquake rattled the area. In May, a much larger 4.8 magnitude earthquake hit area and caused some damage to homes in the area.
