Aggravated robbery suspect Kendall Lucas arraigned

JACKSONVILLE (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - Kendall Lucas was arraigned by Jacksonville Municipal Judge B.K. Menefee late this morning.

Lucas' bonds were set at $200,000 each on three aggravated robbery charges, $150,000 each on three unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon charges, and finally $1,500 on a charge of hindering a secured creditor.

The hindering a secured creditor charge is unrelated to the investigation into the string of armed robberies.

The Jacksonville Police Department would like to thank the public for their assistance in this investigation. The numerous tips received were instrumental in positively linking Lucas to these robberies and ultimately to his capture, according to a statement from police.
