(CNN/KYTX) - Another winter storm is headed for Atlanta.
Two inches of snow fell across the area two weeks ago. Traffic was gridlocked as motorists tried to get home. Thousands of school children spent the night in their schools.
Forecasters say the storm will hit the southeast in two waves. The first wave will happen Monday into Tuesday with a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain. The second wave will move through Tuesday and Wednesday bringing a wintry mix of freezing rain.
Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed were criticized for their handling of the storm. Both promise to be more proactive this time around.
