Arctic blast could set records across Midwest

(CBS) - Another blast of cold Arctic air is making its way through the Midwest and this one could set records in some areas.

Meteorologists say temperatures in the Midwest today will be from the teens to below zero with wind chills as low as forty below. In South Dakota Sunday, blowing snow with winds up to 60 miles-per-hour made it almost impossible to travel outside.

Many school districts in the Midwest canceled classes for today to keep children from going outdoors.
