ATM stolen from Tyler bank Thanksgiving day

Police are investigating the theft of an ATM at a local bank on Thanksgiving day.

Officers responded to BTH Bank on Old Jacksonville Highway early Thanksgiving morning and found an ATM had been forced from its foundation and loaded into the back of a U-Haul box truck.

Police say the suspects stole a heavy piece of machinery from a nearby construction site to steal the ATM.

The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
