Boston Marathon Bombings: one year later

(CBS) - Today marks the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings. Brothers, 26 year old Tamerlan and 20 year old Dzhokhar Tsnaraev allegedly set the bombs that changed the race's course through history.

Three people were killed in the twin blasts last April 15th and hundreds more were injured. Vice President Joe Biden will join local leaders for a tribute in Boston today, where survivors of the terror attack are expected to speak. A moment of silence will be observed at the marathon finish line.

This year's race is set for next Monday.
