(KYTX) - Keith Bryant, the Bullard ISD Superintendent, is the lone finalist for a job leading a district in west Texas.
The Lubbock-Cooper ISD board will vote on whether to hire Bryant as its superintendent July 31, according to Coordinator of Communications Sadie Shaw.
"We considered several applicants and then interviewed several and the board selected Mr. Bryant," Shaw said.
If the Lubbock-Cooper board votes to hire Bryant, he would start August 1. Teachers report on Aug. 12, and the first day of school in the district is Aug. 25.
"We're very excited to have Mr. Bryant," Shaw told CBS 19. "We're a successful district, and we look forward to working with him."
