Business News: Apple seeks trademark in Japan

(CBS) - In Business News, Innovators at Apple may have something up their sleeve.

The company is trying to trademark the name 'iWatch' in Japan. There is speculation the tech giant is developing a smart wristwatch that works similar to an iPhone.

The company has not confirmed those reports, but hasn't denied them either.

(CBS) - Both the director and deputy director resigned from the Vatican bank.

The resignations come just days after the arrest of a Vatican accountant , accused of trying to smuggle $20 million euros into Italy from Switzerland.

There's been allegations of money laundering for decades at the bank which controls billions of the catholic church's money.

The director and deputy director say they're stepping down in the best interest of the church.
