(CBS) - In Business News, the founder of Dell is urging shareholders to vote in favor of taking the company private.

Michael Dell says taking the company private will make it easier to transform it from a PC business to one that focuses on software and data storage.

Starting next Tuesday, the Seattle based coffee company is raising its prices by an average of one percent.

The company says prices on medium and large brewed coffees won't go up in most of its stores.  

(CBS) - A new study suggests 30-somethings have mostly nothing when it comes to having money in the bank.

The Urban Institute, a research organization, says the average net worth for people ages 29 to 37 is down 21 percent from three decades ago.

The study attributes the disparity to high college debt and a decline in home ownership.

Home ownership is a significant source of individual wealth.
