Business News: GM to roll out new line of smaller pickups

(CBS) - General Motors plans to take on Toyota's Tacoma pickup truck with its own line of smaller pickups later this year. GM says the new Chevrolet midsize truck will be aimed at the lifestyle pickup truck buyer while the GMC midsize model will be aimed at fleet buyers and small business owners.

(CBS) - The cost of owning a car is on the rise. A survey by AAA says it now costs 2 percent more to own a sedan than it did last year. The survey factors in costs such as fuel, insurance, maintenance and a car's depreciation.


(CBS) - Advertising on the Internet jumped to a record $36.6 billion dollars last year. An industry group said advertising on mobile devices more than doubled, accounting for 9 percent of total Internet ad revenue.
