(CBS) - It looks like most Americans just want peace and quiet in the sky.
The Federal Communications Commission begins debate today on lifting the ban that prohibits the use of cell phones on airplanes.
But according to a new Associated Press poll, almost half of Americans are against the proposed change.
In another study, even younger folks agree, 52 percent of people 18 to 29-years-old prefer no cell phones in the air.
