Business News: Smith and Wesson sales soar

(CNN) - In Business News, The past 12 months has been good for gun makers.

According to its latest earnings report, SWmith-and-Wesson hit a record $588 million dollars in sales for the fiscal year that ended April 30th.

The gun industry as a whole saw a spike in demand from consumers fearing the gun control debate would make buying a gun more difficult.      

Sales began rising after President Obama's re-election, and jumped after the New town,
Connecticut tragedy.

(CBS) - When it comes to parking in Boston, the sky's the limit or just about.

  Someone paid $560,000 dollars in an auction for two spots in the heart of the city.

  Boston has too many cars and not enough places to park.



(CBS) - News corp CEO Rupert Murdoch and his wife Wendi, are ending their 14 year marriage.

Murdoch filed for divorce just days before news corp splits into two companies.
Rupert Murdoch is estimated to be worth more than nine-billion dollars.
