Business News: Twitter sets IPO stock price between $17-$20

(CBS) - In Business News, It's the most anticipated Initial Public Offering since Facebook.

Twitter plans to sell 70 million shares in its IPO priced at between $17 and $20 dollars a share.

That would put Twitter's value at about $11 billion dollars, which is actually a much more conservative valuation than many analysts expected.

Twitter stock could begin trading as early as November 7th.

(CNN) - New advertisements are coming to the photo-sharing service "Instagram" and they look an awful lot like Instagrams.


The social network is showing off this image of what it says will be the first paid ad to appear in user's feeds next week.

It looks a lot like an Instagram post, but it will be designated as "sponsored".

The Facebook-owned app is selling ads to companies already active on the service, including Adidas, Ben and Jerry's, GE, Levi's, Lexus and others.

(KYTX) - Tyler is among the cities with the fastest growing incomes.

Workers in Tyler have experienced a 14.5 percent increase in median earnings.

Consumer finance site, Nerd Wallet, found the median income for workers in Tyler averaged $24,900.

The study was conducted comparing incomes between 2007 and 2011.

Among 483 cities surveyed, Tyler ranked number 10 .
