California man sentenced to prison on ETX federal drug charges

TYLER (KYTX) - A California man is sentenced to 43 months in federal prison on drug trafficking violations. 
44-year-old Reginald Lavann Eastern pleaded guilty back on Aug. 30, 2012 to charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine. U.S. District Judge Leonard E. Davis handed down the sentence.
On March 4, 2012, Eastern was found with 1 kilogram of cocaine which he intended to deliver to others, according to information presented in court.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration.
