Camp County Pilgrim's Pride headquarters purchase confirmed

JBS USA & Pilgrim's Communications:

Pilgrim's confirms that it has received a purchase offer for its former headquarters building in Camp County, Texas. The offer is from the Region 8 Education Service Center.

The timeline for considering and or finalizing any offer on the property is uncertain, and Pilgrim's is not releasing further details about the offer, its current status, or the amount.

Pilgrim's headquarters moved to Greeley, Colorado, in 2010, and the company vacated the Camp County building in June of that year. The property has been for sale since that time.

Pilgrim's continues to maintain presence in the Pittsburg and Mt. Pleasant area through the following facilities, and any sale of the headquarters building will not affect these facilities: Pilgrim's Pride Distribution Center in Camp County, offices in Pittsburg, feed mill, commercial egg facility, and hatcheries in Pittsburg, and the processing complex in Mt. Pleasant.
