Chandler restaurants to start serving alcohol

CHANDLER (KYTX) - Restaurants in Chandler will soon be able to sell mixed drinks for the first time.

Another proposition passed Tuesday that will also allow beer and wine in stores.

The owner of Los Dos Potrillos on Highway 31 says he plans on applying for a liquor license to be able to serve beer and margaritas to his customers.

"I think it's good for revenue of the city, and good for restaurants and any other businesses around the area in town." says restaurant owner Ramon Flores.

Chandler restaurant owners applying for a liquor license must have a visible sign up stating their application. That sign must be posted at least 60 days.
