Chapel Hill freshman still in coma, recovering

CHAPEL HILL (KYTX) -  Chapel Hill High School freshman Dorian Timmons is in ICU in a coma at ETMC for the fourth day.

CBS 19 spoke with his father, Shemada Timmons Thursday. Mr. Timmons said his son does not have a blood clot and did not have any pre-existing medical conditions. Doctors told Mr. Timmons it was caused by a head-to-head helmet collision that busted a blood vessel in his brain. Mr. Timmons said his son is responding to stress tests, moved his head for the first time today, and is responding well to medications.
