Doctors in Havana removed a cancerous tumor from him last year, but the president's doctors in Caracas recently detected more malignant cells. He told supports about the news on Saturday. The 58-year-old has already had three cancer operations in Cuba since the middle of last year.
Chavez says -- should his health worsen -- vice-president Nicolas Ma-Duro should replace him.
