Children's Miracle Network receives large donation from Spanish radio station

(KYTX) - The Children's Miracle Network gets a large donation today.

The local Spanish-speaking radio station "La Invasora" raised more than $105,000 dollars in a two day radio-athon.
This is ground breaking because "La Invasora" is the first hispanic radio station to hold a major fund raiser in East Texas.

"Everything was in spanish. All the commercials and the testimonials, and the outpouring from the hispanic community was just overwhelming," says Ginger Nimmons with East Texas radio group.

All of the money raised for Children's Miracle Network stays right here in East Texas to help local children through Mother Frances Hospital.
