(CNN) - After a dramatic final week of testimony, closing arguments in the trial of reputed Boston Mob Boss James "Whitey" Bulger are set to begin Monday.
Bulger erupted during proceedings Friday, angrily addressing the judge and calling his murder trial "A sham." The jury was not in the courtroom at the time.
Bulger's trial has been a whirlwind of testimony, with jurors hearing from some 72 witnesses over 35 days. Bulger is accused of participating in 19 murders, racketeering, money laundering and extortion during his allegedly brutal reign with the Irish mafia.
The jury will weigh closing arguments without having heard from Bulger himself. The 83 year old said Friday he would not take the stand.
