COLUMBUS (KHOU) – Columbus High School was briefly on lockdown late Wednesday morning after reports of a suspicious person walking the hallway.
The person was not immediately accounted for or identified, according to the Colorado County Sheriff's Department.
Students were moved to the cafeteria while school officials conducted a search.
The lockdown was lifted before 1 p.m., and school officials said no suspicious persons were found on campus. They said they will review the school's video surveillance to see if anyone was captured on camera.
