(CNN) - The wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship is now afloat once again. A salvage team has completed the mammoth attempt to raise the Costa Concordia.
Crews floated it by pumping air into giant boxes surrounding the ship. It was a delicate operation -- the ship could have broken apart.
The cruise liner ran aground and tipped over two and a half years ago off Italy's Giglio Island. 32 people died in the wreck.
Its estimated the catastrophe will end up costing the ship's owners about $2B.
