Authorities investigating theft of several Tyler classic cars

TYLER - Tyler Police and the East Texas Auto Theft Task Force are investigating the theft of six classic cars over the past weekend around Tyler.

The cars were stolen from several different locations at different times, and several suspects were caught on surveillance video.

The stolen vehicles are:

  • 1986 Chevrolet Truck valued at $10k
  • 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle valued at $39k
  • 1986 Pontiac Parisienne valued at $10k
  • 1985 Cherolet Monte Carlo SS valued at $15k

A 1967 GMC truck valued at $38k was also stolen but recovered the same day abandoned in the eastern part of Smith county.

Anyone with information about the suspects involved in this crime are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). 

Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
