Kilgore FD: No link found between house fire and missing pregnant woman

Investigators are looking into how the missing woman, Sheryia Grant's home caught on fire.

KILGORE - The Kilgore Fire Department has ruled that there is no link between the house fire on Sept. 18 and Sheryia Grant, the pregnant woman missing since August 20.

In a press release issued Sept. 21, authorities stated:

"At this time, base on all information and evidence collected, the Kilgore Fire Department see no connection between the fire investigation and the missing person investigation."

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire and both investigations are ongoing.
