Tyler Police identify suspect in rash of recent church burglaries

Tyler Police have identified a suspect they believe responsible for a rash of church burglaries in the area.

Kinon Carrelle Peacock, 36, is wanted for burglary of a building, a state jail felony.

Investigators have obtained evidence linking Peacock to several church burglaries in the Tyler area and are working on additional arrest warrants.

Authorities attempted to arrest Peacock on Sept. 8, but he evaded arrest and fled on foot.

Anyone with information about the location of Peacock or that has any additional information related to these church burglaries is urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crime stoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833). Crime stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
