The discovery science place has a new exhibit for you and your kids this summer. The exhibit is called "Age of Dinosaurs."
It features moving models designed to mimic the real thing as well as possible. The exhibit is a partnership with Tyler Junior College called "Jurassic Summer."
"[What we have on display] are animatronic robotic dinosaurs," Discovery Science Place CEO Phil Lindsey said. "They are fully articulate. They look like they are alive. People seem to enjoy them so we're very happy to have them."
The dinosaur exhibit also marks the twentieth anniversary of Discovery Science place which opened in 1993 with another dinosaur exhibit. The museum has specially priced tickets this summer that include a planetarium show.
