TYLER (KYTX) - The summer heat didn't stop the Downtown Tyler ArtWalk. To combat the weather, a lot of the work was brought inside different business downtown.
The event's hub was set up in "Gallery Main Street".
The money from the art sold there will help promote downtown art. Other artist, musicians and performers set up shop in different places in downtown Tyler to showcase their work.
"I made some of this stuff when I was six...some things I made in 2011, 2009, 2010," said 11-year-old Eva Malevanskya. She's following in her mother's artistic footsteps.
She and her mother was one of about 20 artist selected through a jury process to be showcased at the 2013 ArtWalk.
