Driver arrested after two-vehicle wreck in Gladewater neighborhood

GLADEWATER (KYTX) - A two-vehicle wreck in Gladewater flips an S.U.V. and sends one man to jail.

The driver of a Chevy Trailblazer says she was driving east on Gay Avenue when a white Dodge sedan ran a stop sign on Lake Drive. Impact from the crash shook the inside of neighbor Gerald Davis' home.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

"We heard a loud boom, tires squealing. Next thing I knew, come out the door and the vehicle back behind me was flipped over. They took a couple of fellows out of the white car, put one in handcuffs," Davis tells CBS 19.

The driver of the Dodge sedan was arrested by Gladewater police for operating a motor vehicle without a driver's license.

More charges could be filed. The wreck remains under investigation.
