Drug deal in Nacogdoches derailed

NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) -- Nacogdoches County deputies stopped a drug deal in progress Friday around 11:30 am following a call at a residence located on Paradise Drive.

Deputies arrived on the scene and became suspicious of three suspects at the residence. During the investigation it was found that two people just arrived at the scene to deliver methamphetamine.

Deputies were able to obtain consent to search the residence and vehicles that were parked outside. During the search deputies found over six grams of crystal methamphetamine inside the residence along with other drug paraphernalia. Deputies also found methamphetamine located on a motorcycle parked outside of the residence.

April Carey 33 years of age, Allan Stevens 34 years of age and Christopher Gilliam 39 years of age, were arrested at the scene for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity a State Jail Felony and Delivery of a Controlled Substance a 1st degree felony.
