TYLER (KYTX) - More than 265 East Texans are heading to Austin on charter buses Tuesday ahead of a controversial vote.
The Texas Senate committee is expected to vote today on the abortion bill after the House version of the bill is brought to the floor.
A number of East Texans are already at the capitol to have their voices heard, as the Senate heard testimony on the bill.
The measure would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy and tighten regulations. Thousands of people signed up to testify.
