Entertainment News: Beatles movie on the way

(CNN)- Ron Howard wants to tell the story of the Beatles in their heyday. He is directing a new documentary about the fab four's touring years. It will focus on the early days at Liverpool's Cavern Club, to their final public concert in 1966. The film will be done with the full cooperation of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, the widow of John Lennon, and George Harrison's widow, Olivia.

(CNN)- Garth Brooks has announced the first stop on his comeback tour.  He is going to Chicago to play the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois on September 4th.  No word on any other dates.  We also know where he is not playing.  Earlier this week he cancelled five dates in Ireland after negotiations with local officials fell through.
