Entertainment News: Bynes Avoids Jail On DUI Charge

(CNN) - Amanda Bynes avoids jail time again. This was for her two-year-old drunken driving case.

The former Nickelodeon star pleaded no contest to reckless driving in a Los Angeles court Monday.
As part of the deal, she was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to pay a fine and attend an alcohol education class. The 27-year-old actress spent four months in an inpatient treatment center and was released in December.

(CNN) - Singer Robin Thicke and his wife actress Paula Patton have separated. In a statement to the media, the couple said they "will always love each other" but have "mutually decided" to separate. The couple first met as teenagers and married in 2005. Their son Julian Fuego was born in 2010. There is no word if a divorce filing is in the works.

(CNN) - Hollywood heavyweight Harold Ramis has died. Ramis was the creative force behind such comedy classics as "Animal House," "Caddyshack," "Ghostbusters," and "Groundhog Day." His talent agency says he died from complications related to Autoimmune Inflammatory Vasculitis, a condition he battled for years. He was 69.

(CNN) - Sony strikes a deal with Michael Jackson's Estate to use his music to promote a new smartphone. The previously-unreleased track "Slave to the Rhythm" was featured as part of a 90-second video to launch the Xperia Z2 phone. It aired Monday at the world's largest mobile trade fair in Barcelona, Spain. Fans were quick to point out that the song isn't exactly new. A version of the song featuring Justin Bieber surfaced online in 2013. The Jackson Estate said the recording was not authorized -- and insisted it be removed from YouTube and other sites.
