Entertainment News: Lohan hospitalized and released

(CNN) - A bad case of asthma forced actress Lindsay Lohan to spend an evening in the emergency room. The "Mean Girls" star had to be rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City Sunday night. Doctors treated and released her. Lohan's rep says she is doing fine. Just last week, she was arrested for an alleged hit and run.

(CNN) - It's more bad news for singer Chris Brown after testing positive for marijuana in Virginia. He was in a Los Angeles court yesterday. The judge now has to decide if Brown violated his probation. Brown told the judge he smoked the pot in California where he has a prescription card for it and was tested in Virginia, where he is fulfilling his community service. He is on a five-year probation for the 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. The judge told Brown he isn't an average citizen who can do whatever he wants and reminded him that he is a role model to children.

(CNN) - Smokey Robinson is lending his voice to a cause. The legendary singer is teaming up with the Clinton Global Initiative and sounding what he's calling "The Smoke Alarm." It's a social media campaign using celebrities and their followers to raise awareness and funding for packets that can turn dirty water into clean drinking water. Robinson's goal is to spread the word to more than 200-million people online.
