Entertainment News: Weekend box office

(CNN) - "Taken 2" takes the weekend box office. The Liam Neeson movie brought in $50 million dollars in opening weekend ticket sales. This sequel features a bit of a role reversal. Neeson is the one who is kidnapped and his daughter has to fight to get him back. Last week's number one film, "Hotel Transylvania" grabbed the number 2 spot, taking in more than $26 million dollars. And "Pitch Perfect" hit the right note with moviegoers. The new release about a college singing group debuted nationally at number three with nearly $15 million dollars in ticket sales.

(CNN) - There was a hot debate over the weekend, but it wasn't between political candidates. Conservative TV commentator Bill O'Reilly and left-leaning host Jon Stewart faced-off in a mock match dubbed "The Rumble In The Air-Conditioned Auditorium." The pair sparred on big issues, including the economy and health care. The topics were serious, but many moments were not.

(CBS) - Lady Gaga is being honored with a peace prize in memory of John Lennon. It's for her work to promote equality for gay, lesbian and transgender people. Lady Gaga will accept the "Lennon-Ono Grant For Peace" award and donation in Iceland, tomorrow.
