ETX woman who had been in coma recovering after health scare

UPDATE: GLADEWATER (KYTX) - According to the Facebook page, "Bringing Home the Browns," Heather Brown is now off the ventilator she was put on yesterday when she stopped breathing. 

She was going in for gall bladder removal surgery, and is now doing well at the hospital. She will stay for a few days.


GLADEWATER (KYTX) - An East Texas woman who slipped into a coma during her 34th week of pregnancy is back in the hospital.

According to the the family's facebook page, "Bringing Home the Browns", Heather Brown is in the emergency room and not breathing. She is on a ventilator .

Heather was scheduled for gall bladder removal surgery and stopped breathing on the way to the hospital.
On September 15, 2012, Heather who was still in a coma had to have her baby boy delivered by cesarean section.

When Heather's son John was born, her husband Sean was in Afghanistan. He was flown home to be with his wife and newborn at the time.

Heather had been in a coma from seizures brought on from aneurysm since September 15, 2012. She initially went to the hospital with back pain and a headache, but began to have seizures while there.
