(USA TODAY)- Facebook rolled out a new feature Monday that allows users to save pages that interest them for later access. The web and mobile archival feature, called "Facebook Save," aims to help people who don't have time to explore links, places, movies, TV shows or music immediately.
"Every day, people find all sorts of interesting items on Facebook that they don't have time to explore right away," the Facebook blog post reads. "Now you can save items that you find on Facebook to check out later when you have more time."
The feature can be accessed on any page using the "Save" button near the "Like" button. The pages will be archived into a list that is automatically organized by category, and the list can be accessed at any time on the social network's website, iOS app or Android app. Facebook will also remind users of saved items, promoting them in users' news feeds.
Facebook says the saved pages will remain completely private unless the pages are shared by users.
