WOOD COUNTY (KYTX) -- The Quitman Fire Department says it took two hours to put out a fire at an oil storage tank.
The fire chief tells CBS19 it started at an oil storage battery on Highway 37 north of Quitman around 6:30 Tuesday evening. We're told crews were working around the tank when the fire began, but there's no word exactly how it started.
The fire burned a truck and flat bed trailer but no one was injured. Firefighters got the fire out around 8:30 p.m.
